I've been maintaining aquariums on and off since childhood. In December 2003, I got a 20 gallon aquarium starter kit for my son and got back into the hobby hard-core. Everything went out of control from there for awhile, but I managed to downsize to a more reasonable number of aquariums.

Since mid-2006, my primary focus has been on small reef tanks, although I still keep some freshwater tanks running. My current tanks are all home-made (as were several of my older tanks that I sold), and are constantly being upgraded.
